Theft from motor Vehicle - Woodlands Street

🚨 Community Alert – Theft from Vehicle 🚨

Residents are advised of a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred on a roadside location of Woodlands Street on Sunday 19th April 2030hrs and Monday 20th April.

🔹 Suspect(s) unknown approached a vehicle that was parked, locked, and left secure.
🔹 The front passenger‑side window was damaged by unknown means.
🔹 Entry was then gained to the vehicle.
🔹 An untidy search of the vehicle was carried out.
🔹 Property was stolen, and the suspect(s) made off in an unknown direction.

✅ Crime Prevention Advice

Always lock your vehicle and ensure all windows are fully closed.

Do not leave valuables on display, even for a short time. Remove items or conceal them from view.

Park in well‑lit, busy areas where possible.

Consider additional security, such as alarms, immobilisers, or steering wheel locks.

If you witness suspicious activity, report it immediately to the police.

Check CCTV, dashcams, or doorbell cameras for any footage that may assist.
